Key job responsibilities
-Day to day managment of a team of specialists to ensure that all shipments are being managed in the safest, most efficient way with the highest quality service to the customer
-Coordinating global and cross-functional teams to achieve goals
-Understanding the technical requirements of our partners and working closely with the internal and external teams to arrange and drive fulfilment services
-Executing strategic business objectives while working with key internal stakeholders to improve the supply chain with the latest internal and external information
-Shaping supply chain strategy and design
-Driving automation efforts
-Communicating with Carriers and internal customers
-Preparing and giving detailed data-driven business reviews to senior management, focused on improving transit times and associated impacts

Keys to success in this role include exceptional analytics, judgment, and communication skills. The candidate needs to be able to extract insights from data and be able to communicate clearly appropriate triggers and actions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

-Experience with supply chain management and transportation concepts such as planning, scheduling, logistics, delivery performance, carrier performance
-People management experience
-Excellent communication both spoken & written
-Proven ability to manage large and complicated projects
-Experience engaging with cross regional teams
-Desire to create and implement annual operational plans
-8-10 years of relevant work experience in logistics, planning, manufacturing, or related field
– Operational experience providing delivery services to the highly regulated hi-tech sector
-A successful candidate will have operational background in supply chain within EMEA with a focus on logistics and extensive experience in complex transport solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

-Proficiency with data analysis (Excel, SQL, Tableau)
-Knowledge of Lean Concepts
-Experience in TMS (Transport Management Systems) and / or route optimisation systems
