Wilmington, Delaware, Nemours is seeking a Sr Application Engineer (Web Solutions), to join our Nemours Children’s Health team. This is a REMOTE position. As part of the Nemours Children’s Health Center for Health Delivery Innovation, Web Solutions develops best-in-class digital content capabilities to power websites including Nemours. org and KidsHealth. org. Enabling users and patient families with digital health resources supports the vision of going Well Beyond Medicine. The team utilizes design thinking and Agile methodologies to re-platform digital experiences into a new cloud-based infrastructure. This position will be responsible for translating content management requirements into technical designs and development of solutions on Adobe AEM platform to support multi-site, multi-channel, multi-lingual delivery environments. Develop digital consumer experiences using Adobe’s AEM product suite, including WCM, DAM. Develop powerful features such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization/targeting, content aggregation & syndication, multi-lingual support, automated workflow management, search etc.

Interact with business stakeholders to create end-to-end specifications for content and collaboration solutions. High Level understanding of AEM and integration with other Adobe solutions like Dynamic Media, Workfront, Target, Marketo/Campaign to make appropriate technical decisions. Develop and oversee OSGI bundles, AEM templates, HTL/Sightly components and services, AEM launches, workflows, localization features, Forms applications and the AEM DAM. Diagnose and solve technical problems related to content management implementation. Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure optimal code quality and appropriate design patterns are used. Coordinate with the technical leadership for the daily support and release operations of applications. Assess and make recommendations regarding tools, languages, methodologies, and processes pertaining to the work of the Web Solutions team. In addition to maintaining existing applications, should be willing to step into new projects/technologies. Manage team demands on his/her time and show willingness to delegate technical execution or responsibilities when appropriate. Job Requirements A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.

Equivalent on-the-job experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s Degree. 3 years of hands-on experience as a Senior AEM Developer. A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area, during which both technical and professional capabilities have been clearly demonstrated. Proficient in Day CQ/Adobe AEM foundational concepts, including the use of core frameworks such as Apache Sling and Apache Felix, a solid understanding of all of the related building blocks including templates, components and dialogs. Deep understanding of AEM integration patterns with search platforms like Solr, Fusion and Coveo. Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, servlets, HTL/Sightly skills, combined with a strong understanding of enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring. Deep understanding of Test-Driven Development Methodologies and Unit Testing tools and techniques. Deep understanding of GitHub Actions/Workflows and CI/CD integrations. Good understanding of integration patterns and content-centric application development patterns using Day CQ/Adobe AEM with other marketing platforms, is preferred. Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM).

Experience in Dynamic Media, Workfront, Adobe Target, Adobe Marketo/Campaign, web analytics and Adobe migration project would be a plus.
