Houston, Texas, The Epic Clinical Systems Lead Analyst ensures that the operational interests of their respective functional areas are being fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems Department. This role supports the Epic Clinical applications deployed within the Harris Health System. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelors degree in an Information Systems / Clinical Informatics related field or 4 years of related IT experience in a Healthcare environment. Certification for at least one Epic Clinical Application. Work Experience : 8+ Years within I. T. Five (5) Years Hospital Health Care Organizations Management, Project and/or Team Lead Experience: At least 2 years of Epic Project and/or Epic Team Lead experience SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Exceptional Verbal (e. g. , Public Speaking) Writing /Composing – (Correspondence/ Reports Other Skills: Analytical, Design, Research, Statistical Advanced Education: Advance Training Specialty: Certifications for at least two Epic Clinical Applications preferred – Epic Willow Ambulatory, Epic Willow Inventory Bachelors Degree Major: Bachelors degree in an Information Systems / Clinical Informatics related field Work Schedule: On Call Other Requirements: Be available to work on site (after hours) as needed. Experience providing hands-on clinical patient care in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
Experience supporting an Electronic Medical Record System. Healthcare Information Technology experience. Understanding of functional processes and business rules related to the applications being implemented/supported Ability to recommend process improvements based upon industry standard in addition to resolving integrated process issues. Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously and able to prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines. Understands the limitations and opportunities presented by the applications supported.
