Houston, Texas, JOB SUMMARY The Sr. Manager of Employee Experience and DE&I is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all engagement operations. This role is responsible for leading and inspiring Community Health Choice (Community) employees to enhance employee engagement, DE&I, service, knowledge, skills, and morale through providing timely and appropriate coaching and feedback to employees. The Sr. Manager is a champion for our employees with the goal of developing and executing a culture plan for Community. This role leads critical work to build and embed a Performance Culture within Community and drives the organizations performance management framework deeply grounded in diversity, engagement (belonging) and equity (DE&I). They will partner with the DE&I program manager, HR team and the senior leadership across the company in designing and implementing the company-wide DE&I strategies. The Sr. Manager leads cross-functional teams to address specific and emerging culture improvements the organization seeks to both seed and sustain and is responsible for driving the collective change vision and the strategy for the future state of Community Health Choice working with multiple stakeholders and strategic initiatives to create the future state of the way Community works though change. Additionally, this position is responsible for all internal company related communications, content, and employee branding materials, consistently maintaining a level of communication and execution aligned with the core values and mission of Community.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES Culture/Employee Engagement: Develop and lead Communitys employee engagement and culture. Create and deliver plan to communication content for the survey at the necessary cadence to maximize impact and measure the KPIs of the action plans in order to drive increased employee engagement Create and execute communication and change management plans across all stakeholders in the Division to build buy-in and ensure program effectiveness Drives change initiatives, maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment; adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements or cultures. Partners effectively with leaders to manage ongoing interdepartmental change initiative Change Management: Build and execute holistic change strategies for complex transformation initiatives Support detailed change management activities including needs analysis, assessment of change readiness, communications and guiding training teams to ensure an integrated approach. DE&I Work closely with DE&I Program Manager, HR Team and Leadership to ensure DE&I Enterprise goals are defined, well understood, and cascaded/communicated appropriately. Partner with the DE&I program manager, HR team and the senior leadership across the company in designing and implementing the company-wide DE&I strategies Develop and maintain strong relationships with Diversity Council and other key leaders, including HR Business Partners, to ensure that the business unit DE&I strategies are in sync and being operationalized to full potential. Coach and support the activities of DE&I staff to design and implement organization development initiatives Coach and support the activities of DE&I with recruitment staff to design and implement organization development initiatives for recruitment DE&I change. Company Events Work with event coordinator to coordinate, verify and finalize services as applicable (i. e. , catering, parking, telecommunications, security, custodial, building access, outside rentals, and plant operations). Work with events coordinator to collect catering licenses and food waiver forms if applicable.

Provide on-site support prior to and through start of event, participate in on-call & available by phone for events. Check event spaces ensuring arrangements are in place. Work with event coordinator and communications specialists in developing and implementing special event marketing plans which include creating all marketing aspects for special event rental space such as brochures, cards, social media, and websites. HR Communications: Establish and lead all employee communication strategies, policies, processes and standards to drive desired behavior Proactively solicit the “voice of” various internal audiences (i. e. , field, senior leaders, HR, first- level managers, all employees), sharing that information with business leaders to drive better, more impactful content and communications. Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization. s strategic vision Develop, drive and evaluate executive communications strategies and programs (internal or external) for Executive team members Prepare strategic communication plan for company and adjust communication plan as needed Measure and present results of communication efforts Other duties as assigned. Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Employee Engagement, DE&I or related field required. Work Experience (Years and Area): 5 years of experience in human resources, culture development, employee engagement and DE&I required.

Management Experience (Years and Area): 3 years of management experience required. Software Proficiencies: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Other: Superior interpersonal, organization and program management skills – Ability to manage complexity to achieve business results Ability to create an environment that supports and encourages respect, customer commitment, teamwork, enthusiasm, and personal growth. Establish an expectation that people can be their authentic selves Knowledge of general change management principles, methodologies, and tools Knowledge of DE&I fundamentals and procedures. Superior writing and editing skills – recognized for “near perfection” writing and editing skills and often asked to edit the work of others Ability to link communications plans and activities to business results
