Houston, Texas, Job Summary The Manager, Learning & Instructional Design is a part of the Learning & Development Team tasked with the design and development of training programs for the Harris Health organization under the direction of the Director of Learning and Development. Training programs will include the entirety of the talent lifecycle, for both clinical and non-clinical organizational learning content. The development will include a blended learning approach for both synchronous and asynchronous programs, covering topics such as, but not limited to, leadership development, coaching, performance management, onboarding, client development, etc. Minimum Qualifications Degrees: Bachelors in BS, BBA, or related Licenses & Certification: Instructional Design preferred Kirkpatrick Measurement preferred Work Experience: Five (5) years work experience in Instructional Design or curriculum development Management Experience: Three (3) years of experience in management/direct supervision of staff in a professional setting Communication Skills: Above average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact), Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking), Writing/ Correspondence, Writing/ Reports Job Attributes Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities: Analytical, Design Work Schedule: Flexible Other Requirements: Expertise in adult learning theory preferred. Experience consulting with customers providing training design and development across multiple mediums (e. g. eLearning, video, instructor-led, distance learning). Strong experience using development tools (e. g. Articulate, Storyline, Captivate, InDesign and Adobe Creative Applications).
Experience working with various LMS applications, including Saba, a major plus.
