Epic Analytics Developer Lead

Houston, Texas, JOB SUMMARY: The Lead Epic Analytics Developer is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of enterprise reports, dashboards, and other analytic or operational informational artifacts. Working with cross-functional teams, the Lead Epic Analytics Developer participates in review of current workflows and informational goals in order to translate them into reporting requirements that will meet clinical needs. The Lead Epic Analytics Developer then uses those requirements to develop a solution with the appropriate operational or analytical tool. The Lead Epic Analytics Developer is responsible for providing technical leadership to junior members of the EMR Report Development team, as well as senior members who are new to Harris Health System. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, CIS, Engineering, or related technical degree or 4 years of related IT experience in a Healthcare environment. Work Experience (Years and Area): 8+ Years related IT experience Management Experience (Years and Area):2 years resource oversight experience SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Writing /Composing Correspondence, Writing /Composing Reports Other Skills: Analytical, Design, Research, Statistical Work Schedule: Flexible, Overtime, Eligible for telecommute Other Requirements: 2 Epic Clarity Data Model certifications required, 3 preferred. 5 years heath care experience preferred
