Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois, Overview Joint Commission Resources, Inc. seeks Sr. Software Engineers for positions in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. Responsibilities Responsible for completing components of the IT full project SDLC under the direction of management. Responsible for completing components of the IT Agile and small project methodology. Participate in phases and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting applications on time. Ensure quality project prior to implementation. Support Technical Leads and Analysts in performing lead activities including resource task management, forecasting estimates for completion of assignments as well as project team status reporting. Identify and analyze problems and assess potential issues to improve applications in a timely manner. Ensure deadlines and commitments are met by providing technical guidance to team members.
Listen, interpret and document business user requirements and/or requests. Work with IT teams to understand and develop detailed project specifications. Present ideas and approaches to the development team, which includes participation in the development of presentations. Demonstrate ability to develop complete understanding of Joint Commission Resources business processes and IT systems. Maintain detailed knowledge about assigned applications as well as other Joint Commission Resources business processes and their interfaces to various applications. Develop and maintain system documentation for new and existing applications. Identify and analyze gaps between current processes and the desired state, design new processes, develop process performance measures, and plan the transition to a new process. Build Salesforce applications. Ability to code using Apex. Use FinancialForce PSA application, Apex Classes, SOQL, and SQL.
Integrate Salesforce. com and Force. com with applications Clicktools, Qualtrics SQL plugins. Multiple openings. Employer and Work Location: Joint Commission Resources, Inc. , One Renaissance Boulevard, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181 Qualifications Successful candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or a foreign equivalent, and one (1) year of IT experience as a Software Engineer or a substantially similar position performing the following duties: creating software development lifecycle documentation; taking project from inception to completion including requirements gathering, designing, coding, and testing; creating new applications and features; building Salesforce applications; and coding using Apex, SQL, and SOQL.
