Morristown/NJ/USA, Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a PerDiem Phlebotomist I for the Laboratory Outreach Program to work varied shifts including every other weekend. Responsibilities Outreach phlebotomists travels to different off sites, doctor’s offices and community events. Outreach Phlebotomy Program requires an experienced Certified Phlebotomy Technician with excellent customer service skills to work with in a Doctor’s office or at one of our Patient Service Centers. Must contributes to the Atlantic Health’s mission by drawing blood from patients and collecting and documenting specimens based on physician orders. This clinical staff position is the face of the lab and their effort starts the whole laboratory process, providing phlebotomy draws with attention to patient comfort and the physician orders. Timely and accurate processing and documentation of the specimens impact the entire laboratory process. Specimen collection, patient registration, specimen process at physician offices or patient service centers. Qualifications Qualifications: Must be able to work independently as well as with a team Able to travel from site to site as needed Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required Education: Completion of a certified phlebotomy program preferred License/Certifications: ASCP certification is preferred Relevant Experience: 6 months – 1 year preferred of previous experience preferred About Us Atlantic Health System aims to deliver the highest quality, safety and care combined with the best experience for our patients and their families.
