Schedule: Full Time Shift : Days Location: 9441 Health Center Drive Land O’ Lakes, Florida 34637 The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Connerton Specialty hospital for medically complex patients Pulmonary and Vapotherm Center of Excellence Staff consists of all Registered Respiratory Therapist, 65% BSN or above RN’s, Current staff certifications include CCRN, PCCN, CNML, WCNC, NEA-BC, and RN-BC Onsite BSN completion program partnership with South University with staff discounted rate Simulation Lab and Clinical Transition Pilot Program Free prep courses for national certifications Robust atmosphere for Clinicals – partnerships with multiple nursing, pharmacy, therapy and respiratory schools. Full time chaplain on staff Team Member rewards and recognition programs to include: Daisy (RN), Employee of the Quarter, Phil (Respiratory), Service Awards, TWCE as Nice The role you’ll contribute: Works closely with the Interdisciplinary Health Care Team to provide medical nutrition therapy that is integrated and compatible with the patient’s medical program goals and objectives. The value you’ll bring to the team: ·Comprehensive knowledge and application of nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy. · General knowledge of nutrient analysis, word processing, basic computer skills, e-mail and spreadsheet software.
· Ability to search the web for nutrition research or practice updates and apply knowledge to updating reference materials, preparing for presentations, education, etc. · Avails self to staff on units as the nutrition expert. · Performs Meal Test Trays 3 times per month (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed: · Completes a minimum of a bachelor’s degree at a U. S. regionally accredited university or college and course work approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) of The Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics (AND). · Completes a CADE-accredited supervised practice program at a healthcare facility, community agency, or a foodservice corporation, or combined with undergraduate or graduate studies. · 1 year experience in a clinical setting. · Registered and Certified Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics; Florida Licensure.
