Irving, Texas, Description Summary: The service line marketing manager develops strategic marketing plans for assigned service lines in alignment with business goals and objectives. This leader establishes compelling value propositions and engages consumers to increase access, grow volumes, and create positive return on investment. The director, service line marketing has a passion for data and the achievement of key performance indicators, enjoys problem solving, and presents marketing initiatives and results to leadership groups. The director works directly with clinical and administrative leaders across the ministries to plan marketing activities and works across system teams and external agencies to build successful campaigns. This individual should have strong working knowledge of diseases, conditions, and related treatments and partners with strategy teams to understand and communicate competitive positioning and report on outcomes and financials to executive leadership. Creates strategic integrated marketing plans that are aligned with the system’s goals for assigned service lines Lead discussions with system, Ministry, and clinical leadership to understand business goals and competitive positioning and align marketing priorities, strategies, tactics, and resources Craft marketing content and materials for campaigns and initiatives consistent with CHRISTUS Health brand Analyze strategic planning data and insights, along with proprietary and syndicated marketing research to understand key market dynamics, trends and competition that drives marketing strategy Develop relationships with service line leaders across all US Ministries to effectively manage a portfolio of strategic service lines Monitor and communicate service line consumer perception, preference, and recall for the system and Ministries Assess Ministry operational readiness to support growth, consulting with administrative and marketing leaders on consumer access strategies Partner with Ministry and system marketing teams to implement marketing initiatives, using innovation and creativity to achieve shared goals Work with marketing and strategy leadership to define key performance indicators and drive performance to meet and exceed performance targets Collaborate with operational and strategy leads to ensure alignment of marketing campaigns with organizational priorities Present plans and results to key service line, administration, and physician leadership Integrate and coordinate service line marketing efforts with Ministry marketing, digital marketing, public relations, communications, social media, marketing agencies, and other stakeholders Work simultaneously on multiple projects, prioritizing by deadline and importance Perform other duties as assigned This role will be privy to and responsible for confidential corporate information, including strategic plans, financial data and patient data sources containing patient data. Requirements: Undergraduate degree in business administration, marketing/communications, or related field required. Master’s degree in business administration, marketing, health administration or related field strongly preferred Strong interpersonal communication skills and political acumen Excellent typography skills and an extreme attention to detail Ability to think strategically, execute effectively, and deliver high quality work against tight deadlines Ability to self-motivate and motivate others to find creative solutions under tight deadlines Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Exceptional oral and written communications skills 8-10 years related work experience required with progressive responsibilities and experience in marketing and communications specific to the healthcare industry 3-5 years of experience with clinical programs in integrated health systems required Must possess powerful and clear written and verbal communications skills, project management skills with attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to use a computer for extended periods of time, including software such as Microsoft Office and web-based tools like Workfront Ability to work extended hours on occasion, including weekends and evenings Ability to perform a large number of tasks with varying degrees of difficult and to maintain flexibility in managing priorities Ability to interact with a variety of internal and external audiences in a professional and competent manner, including system senior management, local and senior leaders, and physicians Ability to responsibly handle confidential information Must be mentally alert and able to plan and organize work schedule. Must be able to work rapidly, under pressure and with frequent interruptions. Must have a good memory and capacity for detail Work Type: Full Time
