Revenue Cycle Specialist

Scottsdale, Arizona, Position Summary This position oversees the collection activity for an assigned segment of the Accounts Receivable and performs collection duties in accordance with established federal and state regulations. Education Associate`s degree in healthcare, business, or closely related field, or equivalent work experience. (Required) Experience Two years experience with collection activity and reduction in accounts receivable in a healthcare setting. (Required) Experience with AHCCCS billing laws and regulations, third-party and managed care payer billing requirements, registration, verification and centralized computer systems. (Preferred) Experience with medical terminology and HIPPA (Preferred) Certifications Credentialed Revenue Cycle Representative (Preferred) Certified Patient Account Representative (Preferred) Special Skills Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task. (Required) Strong MS Office skills with a focus on Excel (Required)
