Madera, California, RN – PICU – Full Time/Days JOB SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children’s polices. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A) a graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Life Support Certifications (see specifics below); and D) experience to correlate with Clinical Ladder level. Bilingual skills desirable. Life Support Certifications required: 1) Heart Code Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days and 2) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 12 months of hire or transfer into the position. POSITION DETAILS: Full Time, 69 Hours per pay period, Day shift PAY RANGE: New Grad $35. 67 – $61. 20 / RN II – RN IV $38. 17 – $61.
