Madera, California, RN – Ambulatory Treatment Center- Part Time/Days SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Valley Children’s Hospital polices. The Ambulatory Treatment Center provides hospital setting medical treatment for children needing various infusions. Infusion therapy is administered to infants, children and adolescents in the Ambulatory Treatment Center (ATC) at Valley Children’s. The ATC is staffed by a team of nurses who infuse blood products, medications and fluids, monitor for medication side effects and coordinate care. The Ambulatory Treatment Center sees nearly 2,000 patients annually. JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position requires: A) a graduate from an accredited nursing program, BSN highly desirable; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Life Support Certifications (see specifics below); D) experience to correlate with Clinical Ladder level. Bilingual skills desirable. Life Support Certifications Required: HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days and Pediatric Emergency Assess, Rec & Stablization (PEARS) within 12 months of hire or transfer into position. POSITION DETAILS: Part time, 40 hours per pay period, day shift, clinic hours are Mon-Friday.
PAY RANGE: New Grad: $33. 65 – $61. 20 / RNII – RN IV $36. 00 – $61. 20 LOCATION: Madera, CA
