Wilmington, Delaware, Nemours is seeking an Administrative Coordinator for our Anesthesiology department, Wilmington, DE. Primary Functions: The administrative coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and performing the administrative support functions required to further the clinical, educational and research missions of the Department of Anesthesia. In addition, the administrative coordinator will provide administrative support to other providers and clinical staff, as assigned, and support daily operations. The administrative coordinator will participate in activities that advance the efficiency and effectiveness of the department Essential Functions: Provides administrative support to the Department of Anesthesia. On occasion, will provide back-up support to designated divisions within the Department of Surgery Coordinate and maintain oversight of calendars to ensure an accurate schedule for Attending Anesthesia Providers, as well as CRNAs and Anesthesia Technicians. Accurately prepare and process payment requests, dues/license payment and associate reimbursements. Proactively identify problems and opportunities related to the missions of the Department. Maintain departmental records including files and electronic communications, database, spreadsheets, etc. Maintain and Distribute OR & Sedation schedules to the department accordingly. Review, track and follow up on claims, collections, AR, denials and pre-payments for the Department of Anesthesia across the Delaware Valley, using EPIC, Qlik and other related software systems.

Prepare and organize interviews and offers packets for department recruitment. Kronos Timekeeping for the Department of Anesthesia Coordinate meetings to include management of: Minutes, Meeting room reservation and attendance tracking. Ordering of supplies for the department to include Office supplies, lab coats, business cards, cell phone upgrades, IT equipment, and other applicable items in Harmony. Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: Associates Degree required. In lieu of Associates degree, minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative coordinator type role and High School diploma. 1-3 years of job-related experience required Previous experience supporting leadership positions required. Must be able to multi-task, work independently, prioritize, have excellent time management
