About the Role: Job Summary Responsible for creative planning, coordination and implementation of all aspects of marketing to raise consumer awareness and preference of the Georgia Heart Institute. Responsibilities include developing strategic marketing and media relations plans to increase new patient volume, creating engaging content across all mediums (video, audio, digital, print, etc. ), developing KPIs to track return on investment and demonstrate progress. Works collaboratively with executive leadership, service line leaders, physicians, and other supporting positions to determine and advise strategy for consumer marketing and promotion. Minimum Job Qualifications Licensure or other certifications: Educational Requirements: Bachelors Degree Minimum Experience: Three (3) to four (4) years’ experience in professional marketing or communications roles Other: Bachelor’s degree in a communications/marketing/ business/ or related field Preferred Job Qualifications Preferred Licensure or other certifications: Preferred Educational Requirements: Preferred Experience: Knowledge of the healthcare industry, especially in heart and vascular services Other: Job Specific and Unique Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated ability and experience in planning, coordinating, and implementing creative advertising (online and traditional) and public relations strategies across all mediums Demonstrated ability to track advertising and marketing campaign conversions/KPIs to demonstrate return on investment Strong writing skills across all media (print, web, presentations, etc. ), as well as expert proofreading skills and knowledge of AP Style Working knowledge of online marketing platforms and required skills (social media, online advertising, search engine optimization) to effectively target audiences for specific messages Effective media relations skills to strategically pitch stories, respond to requests, and manage crisis. Working knowledge of AP Style Ability to effectively and simultaneously manage multiple projects of varied complexity within assigned deadlines Must take initiative, work independently, multi-task and prioritize with little to no supervision Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and have a strong work ethic Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills at all levels, from leadership to the frontlines Skilled presenter with ability to tailor complex messaging to fit the level of each audience Ability to coordinate with graphic designers to ensure effective design of marketing/engagement materials Budget management skills Essential Tasks and Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and implement creative advertising (online and traditional) and public relations strategies across all mediums. Track advertising and marketing campaign conversions/KPIs to demonstrate return on investment. Develop creative concepts to effectively support business growth strategies and priorities, working with in-house resources and outside companies to create effective online, video, audio, print, and other advertising, marketing and communication pieces.

Write, review, and edit and content for publications, online content and other communication materials ensuring complex messages are communicated effectively and in accordance with assigned deadlines. Manage complex political relationships to foster optimal business growth, keeping leaders abreast of issues which may require intervention. Develop strategic relationships with media outlets and coordinate media relations, including releasing patient information, in accordance with hospital policy. Provide media coaching for leaders and physicians, writing responses and speeches as needed for media inquiries, speaking opportunities and health education events. Negotiate and contract necessary vendor contracts to support marketing plans. Coordinate speaking opportunities and health education events. Assist presenters in script writing, story boarding, use of A/V support equipment and presentation style. Arrange video and audio recording of live seminars, clinical procedures and other content to support marketing plans. Work to establish positive working relationships with physicians and practice leadership by establishing and meeting deadlines, scheduling, attending or leading necessary meetings.
