Lynn Community Health Center

Lynn, Massachusetts, Chief Executive Officer
Lynn Community Health Center (LCHC), based in Lynn, MA, seeks a strategic, inspirational, mission-driven executive to serve as the organization’s next Chief Executive Officer (CEO). LCHC is the city’s leading health care provider and a recognized model and innovator among community health centers (CHCs) nationwide. With a revenue of approximately $85M, LCHC serves over 35% of Lynn’s population and employs nearly 650 people. LCHC is Massachusetts’s third largest health center and plays a vital role in the City of Lynn from a health and economic perspective. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will lead a well-established organization with a deeply ingrained mission of providing comprehensive, affordable, patient-centered, quality health care. The next CEO will be a leader who appreciates the LCHC’s unique culture and past successes and demonstrates a profound commitment to its mission and the patients it serves. The successful candidate will have proven success building cohesive teams and leading a fast-paced, multifaceted organization with complex administrative, financial, operational, and service demands. The ideal candidate will need to be an accomplished, data-driven decision-maker with exceptional leadership and management skills. Knowledge of health care finance, operations, and quality improvement will be crucial. This executive needs to be strategic, results-oriented, and politically astute and be able to lead the Center as it heads into unpredictable times for federally qualified health centers nationwide.

The position will require strategic and skilled navigation with a sophisticated understanding of the drivers, trends, and outside forces – both threats and opportunities – that impact federally qualified health centers and the health care industry in general. The successful candidate will monitor and analyze emerging trends and needs and, with the Board of Directors and senior staff, remain highly adaptive, nimble, and responsive. As LCHC enters this next phase, the commitment to serving a vulnerable, multicultural, diverse population is, and will continue to be, at the heart of LCHC. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for serving underserved communities, a commitment to the LCHC’s mission and work, and a strong commitment to ethical standards. LCHC is a vibrant organization with a rich history, recognized for its wide range of services, the quality of care it provides, its broad cultural competencies, and its dedicated staff.
