FTE: 0. 9 _, Shift: Evenings_, Schedule: Evening_ Position Summary The Emergency Services Technician Lab is an exciting opportunity on the MultiCare Off Campus Emergency Department team, offering a supportive role assisting practitioners with patient care and executing administrative and clinical procedures. Working in collaboration, you will ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experience. Responsibilities You will perform direct patient care as directed You will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment. Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds Requirements High School Diploma or GED Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, or successful completion of EMT Training Course EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within ninety 90) days of hire Medical Assistant-Registered Certification (must apply within seven (7) days of hire Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) days MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R, per department requirements Current CPR Certification Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, pre-hospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we’ll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness.
