Northern Light Health, headquartered in Brewer, Maine, has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, accomplished, and focused individual to lead our facilities in Aroostook County. We are looking for a dynamic person to lead Northern Light AR Gould, a community hospital located in Presque Isle with 89 licensed beds, outpatient locations across the region, more than 60 physicians on an active medical staff, and a team of more than 1,000 employees. AR Gould Hospital offers primary care as well as a range of specialty and intensive services. The hospital president also leads Northern Light Continuing Care Mars Hill, a long-term care and rehabilitation facility serving 72 residents. The president serves as a senior vice president of Northern Light Health and represents their hospital at the system level and serves on a Leadership Council.

Master’s Degree in Business or Health Administration preferred

MD, DO, MSH, or similar advanced clinical degree accepted with attainment of MBA or MHA within 18 months of hire

A minimum of eight (8) years of senior management experience in a hospital or health care setting
