The role you’ll contribute: The Behavior Technician, under the supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), is responsible for conducting individual and group treatment to assist children to develop maximum cognitive, social, self-help, communication and motor skills. The Behavior Technician will assist the BCBA, teachers and therapists in a variety of settings and work closely with parents and other professional staff. The Behavior Technician supports the Center and staff by helping to maintain a clean and hygienic environment and maintaining organization in the Pathways classroom and other areas. Assisting the BCBA with organization of data and individual children’s programs is also a daily requirement. The value you’ll bring to the team: · Provide direct therapy under the supervision of the BCBA to assist children to develop maximum cognitive, language, self-help, social, and motor skills. · Collaborate with other team members including physical, occupational, speech-language and music therapists as well as early childhood special educators and BCBA · Assists the BCBA with organization of data and individual children’s programs on a daily basis · Provides quality patient care skills/procedures in a manner that takes into account the special needs of the patient, e. g. , age, culture, learning ability, etc · Reports any equipment or maintenance problems and safety concerns to Office Coordinator and/or direct supervisor Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : · Bachelor’s Degree · Registered Behavior Technician This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
