Saint Louis, Missouri, Additional Information About the Role Onsite position with an option for hybrid.     Goldfarb School of Nursing is looking for an Academic IT Systems Specialist.   Ideal candidate will have experience working in a higher education setting along with technical, programming, and integration experience.   Knowledge of reporting and creating SQL queries.   Experience working in Oracle database.   Power BI is a plus.    This position will be working with Student Affairs in the registration office.   Overview With a legacy beginning in 1902, Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College has a strong tradition of educating health care professionals. Assists with the development and maintenance of programs to support enrollment. Analyzes admissions data to develop future enrollment strategies. Identifies and may lead enrollment initiatives. Analyzes admissions and financial aid data to develop future enrollment strategies. Ensures compliance with all associated policies, rules and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Serves as the functional area’s student information system Subject Matter Expert (SME) and liaison between employees, students, and operational functions to modify/enhance/develop components of software and programs for alignment with current college policies and record integrity compliance. Serves as a liaison for all Student Affairs Division functional areas to the College’s Information Technology and BJH Information Systems, unit leaders, end users and user groups to ensure alignment with business processes and practices. Under the direction of the Registrar, manages third party software to successfully integrate with College software and programs and provide data management/reports.   Responsibilities Designs, plans, and implements automated processes that ensure data integrity and accuracy and regularly updates the systems to comply with federal and state mandated guidelines specific to academic operations. Maintains regular communication and works collaboratively with software stockholder staff and academic partners and troubleshoots, analyzes, detects, identifies, and corrects technical problems and deficiencies. Develops and implements end-user training, as needed, for student information systems and programs. With oversight by the Registrar, ensures compliance with, and develops overall processes, guidelines, and operational procedures for the Banner, CRM and other software programs. Provides specialized systems expertise and programs to generate reports, statistical summaries to assist analysts and end-users as directed.
