Hershey Medical Center Location : US:PA:Hershey Work Type : Full Time FTE : 1. 00 Shift : Day Hours : Varied JOB SUMMARY: Oversees implementation, coordination and evaluation of all data aspects of the Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) Program to meet overall program goals and objectives, under the Quality Manager (QM) and BMT Program Manager. Responsible for the mandatory collection, accuracy, timeliness and analysis of bone marrow transplant patient care data submission to the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR), National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP), Health Insurance companies, as well as state and federal agencies. Support Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT) accreditation by performing data audits and review/update of data related to Standard Operating Procedures. This includes database maintenance, data analysis, and development clinical quality tools. Assure initial provider/staff training for required documentation of patient care, research consent completion, and participation in Mortality & Morbidity meetings. Â MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S): Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (3 years) required PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S): Prior experience in HCT or Cellular Therapy clinical research (data manager, clinical research coordinator, transplant coordinator, etc. ) Knowledge of CIBMTR Data Collection Forms and HCT/Cellular Therapy research data. Clinical knowledge of cellular therapies and/or hematopoietic stem cell transplant.
