Fred Hutch Information Technology (IT) is looking for an outstanding, customer-focused Power Platform Developer II to join the Platform Solutions team. The candidate will be a technical and development specialist, partnering with the team’s analysts, developers, and engineers to provide comprehensive support for the Center’s active and growing Microsoft 365 community. Key responsibilities include Power Apps and Power Automate development, ongoing optimization of custom workflows, investigation and introduction of new techniques and methods, and SharePoint support services. Responsibilities Collaborate with business analysts (BA) to identify process improvements and translate into Power Platform or SharePoint Online solutions using out-of-the-box tools and custom development Work with customers, project managers, analysts, and technical staff to estimate, develop, test, implement and document new applications and improvements to existing applications Contribute to requirements, specifications, and customer-facing content Participate in Agile framework (daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure visibility of project contributions and timely iterative delivery Contribute to ongoing daily support of M365 Power Platform and applicable services (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business) Continually improve skills and implement solution development, leveraging M365 technologies to meet changing needs of customers Qualifications Minimum qualifications Minimum 2 years developing and supporting Microsoft Power Platform and SPO environments Strong hands-on experience creating solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages, and Microsoft Dataverse Skilled at creating solutions using technology such as JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, REST, HTML, CSS Intermediate experience with supporting toolsets, including connectors, SharePoint Framework, Nintex Automation Cloud, and Microsoft Forms Clearly communicate technical concepts and language to non-technical end-users and collaborators Develop end-to-end optimized solutions, including identifying user needs, solution identification and development, systematic testing, and troubleshooting Work smoothly with technical and non-technical teams in a community with diverse academic, cultural, and professional backgrounds Collaborate with team members while accomplishing tasks with minimal supervision Directly equivalent IT work experience and/or related STEM certification or degree Preferred qualifications: Experience migrating content using tools such as Metalogix, AvePoint, ShareGate Strong experience with APIs and SharePoint plugins and integrations Working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the Agile methodology Experience working in a clinical, research, biotech, or academic environment Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center has a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine requirement, with exceptions only for approved medical or religious accommodations. The annual base salary range for this position is from $86,078 to $129,118 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
