Financial Reporting Analyst – Hybrid

Louisville, Kentucky, Description We are recruiting a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our Team in Louisville, KY.   This position compiles and analyzes financial statements and supporting footnotes for our insurance captive as well as compiles reporting information for quarterly debt covenant submissions.       Essential Functions: ·        Prepare and analyze insurance captive monthly financial statements and footnotes. ·        Assist in the preparation of financial debt covenant compliance. ·        Prepare and analyze monthly debt related journal entries (payments, accruals, interest). ·        Prepare monthly supporting reconciliations. ·        Assist in the semi-annual insurance actuary review process. ·        Supports the audit process by providing data to external auditors.   ·        Assists with special projects as assigned.     Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: ·        Comprehensive knowledge of accounting, financial analysis and reporting.

·        Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word and related accounting software. ·        Performs other related duties as assigned.   Qualifications   Qualifications – ·         Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. ·        CPA preferred. ·        2+ years’ experience in public accounting or financial reporting.
