United States,, The Inova Schar Cancer Institute is seeking an outstanding candidate to fill the position of Neuro-oncologist for our Neuro-Oncology program. This physician will have expertise in the care of primary and metastatic brain malignancies and cancer neurology. The role is primarily clinical care, focused on outpatient care with some inpatient consults and oversight of inpatient chemotherapy, shared with the other neuro-oncologist. There are opportunities to participate in clinical trials, clinical research projects, and teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students. The candidate must be board certified or board eligible in neuro-oncology through UCNS. The candidate will join a multidisciplinary team with another neuro-oncologist, neurosurgeons, radiation oncologists, neuro-oncology social worker, clinical research coordinator, and neuro-oncology nurse navigator. The Neuro-oncologist will also interact with resources available through the Inova Neurosciences.
