Bucks County-Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Groups, St. Mary Medical Center and Nazareth Hospital have an excellent full time employment opportunity for a fellowship trained Colorectal Surgeon to join their employed medical group in Langhorne and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Colorectal Surgeon will be part of a collaborative and growing team made up of one Bariatric/General Surgeon, three General Surgeons and one other Colorectal Surgeon. The selected candidate split their time between Nazareth Hospital and St. Mary Medical Center. They will have the opportunity to develop a colorectal practice in an environment set up for success. Support is provided from 24/7 Trauma surgeons, 24/7 Intensivists, a large Hospitalist staff and an established breast and cancer center on campus. Call coverage is 1:3 but will continue to grow as they build the team. On call weeknights and weekends (every 5 th night ideally) with holiday commitment.  The team currently has the Si robot and are looking to add Xi robot in the near future.

Hospital EMR is currently Meditech, outpatient is Athena, but they will be switching to EPIC. Additional responsibilities include: performing scheduled and when required, unscheduled outpatient services in a medical practice setting on campus; performing scheduled surgical services or other procedures two to three days per week or as required; and attending/rounding on all Colorectal/General Surgery inpatients as necessary, performing preoperative workup for patients and obtain consents. Applicants must be a MD or DO, Board Certified in General Surgery and Board Certified or Board Eligible in Colorectal Surgery, fellowship trained in an accredited colorectal program with advanced laparoscopic/robotic surgical techniques, and an unrestricted active Pennsylvania license. Preference will be shown to candidates with five years of experience.
