Position Summary The Anesthesia Assistant is responsible for preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment to ensure its functionality; facilitates turn over/set up of anesthesia machines between patients; performs simple trouble shooting; sets up monitoring; assembles supplies and equipment for each case; cleans equipment; stocks materials for surgical procedures; transports patients to OR; assists with moving and positioning patients, and assists the Anesthesiologist and OR staff, within the scope of practice, with the delivery of care in the Operating Room. Requirements High school graduate of equivalent preferred Post high school education in a related health care field preferred CPR certification required CNA, LPN, NA-R or completion of a recognized Respiratory Therapist or Anesthesia Tech program Previous OR or procedural experience preferred Previous experience troubleshooting medical equipment preferred Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we’ll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness.
