This opportunity is full-time during second shift. In this role, you will: Perform a vital part of the patient care process by leading logistics, distribution, and specimen processing operations of the laboratory during evening shifts. Support the departmental supervisor with organizational goals and objectives, including developing and inspiring your team of employees. Manage departmental resources, optimize processes, and maximize profitability.
Interact with a variety of clients and commit to customer-focused service. Work in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and PPE requirements. Champion safety, compliance, and quality control. All you need is: High School Diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record for the past three years. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under time constraints, without close supervision. Physical capability of regular standing, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 50lbs). Bonus points if you’ve got: Completion of some college level courses. Previous supervisory experience.
1 – 2 years of related experience in clinical laboratory, data entry, or production.
