Nurse Practitioner – Acute Care (Nights) Opportunity

Columbus, Ohio, OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS Mount Carmel Health System has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to provide care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) located in Columbus, Ohio. This opportunity will be based on the Mount Carmel Grove City and St. Ann’s Hospital campuses. In this role you will be credentialed to perform procedures. The schedule for this opportunity is 12-hour night shifts with weekend/holiday rotation. Responsibilities include: Manage the care and treatment of patients as indicated in the professional scope of practice and within current standards and protocols. Develop a comprehensive plan of care with the patient/family consistent with established guidelines Practice within the guidelines of a Standard Care Arrangement with a collaborating physician. Initiate and lead performance improvement activities with a focus on achieving top quartile on clinical indicators. Requirements for this opportunity include: Master’s Degree required in Science, Nursing, or specialty field, graduate of an Advanced Practitioner Program Acute Care License required Advance Practice Experience in Intensive care is desired Current License as RN in Ohio. Certified as Advance Practice Nurse in designated specialty.
