Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank (SDSEB) is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team member to join us to save lives!! Our mission at SDSEB is to save lives through organ and tissue donation, and we want professionals on our team that will embrace this important work!! We are seeking candidates for a Quality and Compliance Manager with a background in healthcare quality to lead our regulatory initiatives and ensure we maintain compliance with industry standards and operating procedures. This position will require occasional travel.

Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank is based out of Sacramento, California and is a member of the DCI Donor Services family. Employees are located in California, Tennessee, and Nevada.
For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities.
DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:
Oversees, develops, and implements quality systems related to regulatory compliance and strategic goals.
Maintains current licensing registration, and accreditation with all regulatory entities.
Leads internal and external audit processes. Reviews audit findings, ensures appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
Oversees quality control activities such as supplier qualification, equipment qualification, environmental monitoring, process and equipment validation, etc.
Investigates process deviations and non-conformances. Conducts root cause analysis and advises appropriate stakeholders. Documents all activities in QPulse.
Leads Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) meetings.
Reviews Standard Operating Procedures for feasibility and compliance.
Manages quality staff – conducts coaching, performance evaluations, identifies staff growth/development, and ensures high team productivity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s degree in science or allied healthcare.
3+ years with quality systems management
CQIA, CPTC, CTBS, or CEBT
Valid Driver’s license with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.
