Full-time CNM for birth center/hospital practice

Allen, Texas, Allen Midwifery & Family Wellness (AMFW) is hiring another full-time CNM for our well-known practice located north of Dallas, Texas. Established in 2003 as Allen Birthing Center, AMFW  provides full-scope care including pregnancy/birth, gyn/well-woman/wellness/contraception, primary care, HRT, and more.
 

AMFW offers planned birth center birth, and has now also expanded to offer planned hospital birth for clients who choose the hospital setting, those who would risk out of OOH birth, and TOLAC/VBAC clients. We have close working relationships with several supportive MFMs and OBGYNs, and are excited to be part of the growth at our associated hospital, with the building of a new women’s tower opening in 2024, followed by a new and revitalized L&D unit.

Example schedule/benefits includes:

-Full scope practice; 80% obstetric clients, 20% gyn, well-woman, hormone counseling, and primary care
-2 clinic days/week (office hrs 9-4:30, 1 hour lunch break typical)
-Average clinic load of 12-15 patients/day/provider
-1-2 24hr call shifts/week (combined with clinic days)
-Average 2-4 weekend days/month.
-Post-call day off
-Paid malpractice, certs, and CEU allowance
-Simple IRA contribution employer match after 6 months

 
*Experience required ; 2 years+ preferred (We are unable to consider new grads for this opening at this time). 
*Preference for combined hospital and OOH practice experience
*Independent and motivated, passionate about providing the EBP and individualized care our clients expect. 
*Masters degree or higher in Nursing/Midwifery
*Certification as CNM by AMCB
*Unencumbered license to practice in Texas as APRN 
*BLS and NRP certifications  Competitive for area and commensurate with experience
