UNC Primary Care at Oberlin is actively recruiting for a Medical Director to join its busy practice. UNC Health Primary Care at Oberlin offers a trusting, healthy partnership to patients of all ages. The Medical Director will be devoted to both leadership duties and clinical practice. They will have oversight of all activities related to the delivery of medical care and clinical services in the practice, including oversight of advanced practice providers and clinical and operational performance improvement. Qualifications of the ideal candidate include:
* MD/DO;
* Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine;
* Previous experience supervising advanced practice providers;
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a practicing physician, and actively involved in the clinical practice of medicine;
* Demonstrated leadership ability as evidence by prior committee or project work;
* Demonstrated customer service orientation; ability to resolve difficult situations constructively;
* Ability to work effectively with providers, clinical staff, and administration;
* Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, at all levels within an organization;
* Commitment to demonstrated quality improvement and business development.
