Lewiston, Idaho, Description The work location for this position is St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, Idaho JOB SUMMARY:Â Improve medication safety by assisting pharmacists to collect up-to-date prior-to-admission medication lists for patient admitted to the hospital. Update and clarify allergy information in patients’ records in an electronic health record. To optimize the medication reconciliation process and decrease the number of med errors due to incomplete or inaccurate information. Oversee ADC controlled substance inventory management processes and proper counts (including monthly inventory) Ensure the timely resolution of ADC controlled substance discrepancies as supported by departmental policy and procedure Review outliers in controlled substance transactions among ADC cabinet users and work with area user management when outliers are identified Provide audits for pharmacy personnel when conducting daily ADC transaction activities Provide audits for nursing medication administration, documentation, and waste Deliver medications to the floors and refill ADCs Monitor inventory and keep buyer abreast of all inventory issues HOURS: Â Hours and schedule vary based on department needs Scion Health considers a consistently positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous, and professional attitude to be an essential function of every position.    Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required L-IDAHO-Pharmacy State License required PTCB or NHA Certified Pharmacy Technician License required  Â
