Nashville, Tennessee, Organization: Business Administration Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and controls the activities of the Facility Services Department to provide repair, maintenance, and security services necessary to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the hospital and other facilities, and to maintain a comfortable, secure and efficient physical environment for patients, employees, medical staff and the public, in accordance with policies, procedures, standards and practices set forth by the company, the State Department of Public Health and other local, community, and governmental agencies. Also administers construction/renovation projects. Directs and manages the Environmental Services Department in such a way to maintain the hospital’s environment in a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. . PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS “Medium Work” category requiring exertion up to 50lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 of force frequently and/or up to 10 of force continually to move objects.
