The Clinical Trial Workflow & Data Analysis Manager role is a key part of our central team providing support to Principal Investigators (PIs) and research study teams who are focused on mission-critical clinical trials programs. The role is responsible for managing a team tasked with performing business/operation analysis, dashboard development, data analysis, workflow design and supports a wide range of functions, including clinical trial start-up and trial operations. This is a high-growth opportunity and provides exposure to innovative and complex clinical trials in an academic setting. Fully remote or hybrid work options available. Responsibilities Partner with teams responsible for clinical trial operations to understand data sources and work to ensure efficient and accurate use of data; identify and close gaps as needed Manage efforts around requirements gathering, business rules documentation and transformation of fata from source fields to target fields as needed; Support the translation of business requirements into specific dashboard requirements Maintain thorough documentation of business requirements and data definitions Develop data collection procedures to support dashboard development Create dynamic dashboards and visual tools to represent operational data Ensure report and data presentation quality by performing quality control reviews, and investigating and resolving data discrepancies Prioritize, assign, and manage dashboard development activities, ensuring that Cancer Consortium needs and timelines are met. Develop and implement data quality management, metrics definition and data visualization procedures. Train staff in all areas of data analysis, requirements gathering, data QC, data visualization, & metrics definition. .

Serve as a liaison with various stakeholder groups and outside organizations regarding dashboard and metrics presentation issues. Collaborate with clinical trial leadership to define scope of work, timelines and resources associated with dashboards and metrics. Participate in relevant work scope meetings to identify new/novel data streams and collection requirements and the impact on resource effort. Manage interdependent projects; including milestones, timelines, and resource requirements, to achieve Consortium goals and ensure CRS meets its operational obligations in accordance with applicable regulations. Work with CRS leadership to identify trends in data requirements that will provide opportunities for standardization. Mentor and coach staff to enhance expertise in all facets of data analysis and visualization design and development. Manage workflow design and implementation for targeted process improvements related to clinical trials Qualifications Required Experience Bachelor’s Degree in math, science, business, or related field Highly reliable and detail oriented Minimum of 5 years of experience with data analysis and/or operational analysis. Minimum of one year of supervisory experience. Excellent communication (written and oral), customer service, collaboration, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with ambiguity, and move forward effectively in a fast-paced project environment Knowledge of clinical trials management systems Knowledge of EHR systems Hands-on experience using data visualization tools (E.

g. , Tableau) Hands-on experience using workflow management tools such as Zendesk, Smartsheet is desirable 3 – 5 years of report design, dashboard design and development experience. Preferred Experience Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience required. Resource management and budget oversight experience. The annual base salary range for this position is from $106,427 to $168,223 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
