Madera, California, Clinical Decision Supp Coord – Infection Prevention SUMMARY: This position oversees the management of data within Infection Prevention and Control (IPC). It is a strong analytical role that focuses on the understanding of data and its use in clinical decision-making. The Clinical Decision Support Coordinator creates and maintains the integrity of IPC reports, metrics, dashboards, and databases that support IPC and the organization. Works closely with peers and stakeholders to access, extract, clean and analyze data from a variety of data sources, including linking disparate forms of data and/or creatively using existing data to propose metrics and present them in a compelling way. Recommends and develops enhancements to optimize work flow and functionality of IPC applications. Coordinates with IT for reporting support as needed. Takes responsibility for analyses of IPC data to identify relationships and trends; interpret data and communicate noteworthy findings to IPC leadership. Ensures compliance with state and federal IPC reporting requirements. REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field with a master’s degree preferred. Must have a minimum of three years experience as a Data Analyst or closely related experience.

Minimum of three years experience in data mining, report writing, developing and maintaining databases, and complex datasets required. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) preferred. Advanced Excel and Power BI experience required. SQL, RedCap, and NHSN experience preferred. Must be able to function independently and possess strong critical and analytical thinking, organization, and decision making skills. Must have customer focus and ability to build and maintain highly effective relationships across the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. POSITION DETAILS: Exempt level position. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. PAY RANGE: $34.
