North Kansas City, Missouri, SUMMARY: The Trauma Performance Improvement Coordinator works in collaboration with the Trauma Program leadership and is responsible for the coordination and facilitation of the Trauma Performance Improvement activities at NKCH. Provides coordination and facilitation of performance improvement activities including data collection, analysis, loop closures, enhance clinical outcomes, trending, and benchmarking of data outcomes at a local, regional, state, and national level. EXPERIENCE: 3+ years of trauma nursing experience in emergency department or ICU setting required. Masters degree in Public Health, Nursing, or Health Administration preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS: Performance Improvement experience highly desired LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) Preferred: CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse), CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), TNS (Trauma Nurse Specialist) Course EDUCATION: Required: Bachelors – Nursing, Preferred: Masters – Health Administration, Masters – Nursing
