San Antonio, Texas, Description Summary: Responsible for the planning and overall clinical operations of the bariatric program. Manages ongoing clinical data analysis, infection control, radiation safety, risk management, program development, and implementation of processes to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of the bariatric program. Responsible for maintenance of accreditation with JCAHO, Texas Department of Health, Texas Department of Public Safety and the State Board of Pharmacy. CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – Westover Hills (CSRH-WH) is a 150-bed hospital serving the fastest growing area of San Antonio. Specialized care includes orthopedic and surgical services, ICU, women’s services, a newborn nursery, comprehensive cardiovascular care from diagnostics to open heart surgery, vascular lab, sleep center, emergency services, the CHRISTUS Weight Loss Institute, wound care, rehabilitation, and more. The campus also boasts an Outpatient Imaging Center and three medical plazas, one of which houses our CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Medicine Residency Program and CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Family Health Center. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree of Related Field (Preferred) Three years of current experience in the area of bariatrics, strongly preferred. BLS Certification (Preferred) Registered Nurse or Registered Dietician (Preferred) Work Type: Full Time
