Unit Associate I, Delivery Room

Morristown/NJ/USA, Overview Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a Per Diem Unit Associate for the Delivery Room at Morristown Medical Center to work 11PM – 7AM, including every other weekend. Responsibilities Essential Function/Responsibilities: Greeting patients, visitors, healthcare team members, and physicians Registering Mother and Baby Admitting patients Answering call lights Ordering transcriptions Use of CPOM Assisting charge nurse/coordinator with patient flow through the unit Patient chart maintenance; answering the phone Communicating critical information to doctors and nurses in a high pace environment Other miscellaneous administrative duties Qualifications Minimum Education: HS diploma or equivalent is required Minimum Experience: Previous Unit Rep experience in a hospital or medical office preferred The candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal communication skills and telephone etiquette Computer literate and knowledge/training in medical terminology a plus Must be available to attend at least four weeks or more of training during the days and evening hours, as well as weekends About Us Atlantic Health System aims to deliver the highest quality, safety and care combined with the best experience for our patients and their families.
