Morristown/NJ/USA, Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery Room, to work night shifts. This position is located at Morristown Medical Center. Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families. Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job. Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills. Qualifications Qualifications/Requirements: Care for high and low risk moms and newborns Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required Education: BSN Preferred License/Certifications: Valid New Jersey Nursing License required BLS required NRP Within 6 months of hire ACLS Within 6 months of hire NCC In House OB Preferred Relevant Experience: 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience in an Acute Care setting as a Registered Nurse strongly preferred Scrub and circulate for vaginal and caesaran deliveries About Us Atlantic Health System aims to deliver the highest quality, safety and care combined with the best experience for our patients and their families.
