Summit/NJ/USA, Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery Room at Overlook Medical Center, to work from 7PM – 7AM including every other weekend. Entry level offers start at $43. 00 / hour and increase based upon experience. Responsibilities Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families. Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job. Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required BSN preferred Minimum Experience: 1-2 years Maternal/Child Nursing preferred, at least 1 year critical care experience in an acute care environment to be considered Ability to circulate, scrub and recover also preferred Care for Ante-partum, intra-partum and postpartum patients in Labor and Delivery in a Baby Friendly environment.
