McCall, Idaho, Overview St. Luke’s Health System in McCall, ID is seeking a Supply Chain Tech 2 to join our Supply Chain team. Unit/Position Summary The Supply Chain Technician 2 is responsible for typical supply chain operations and logistic functions to include but not limited to receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery, inventorying, and stocking. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Individual incumbents may be responsible for a general overview or may specialize in one or more of the function areas of Supply Chain Operations listed below: Dispatch: The Dispatcher is responsible answering calls for the transportation of patient records, supplies, and medications, as well as assigning them to couriers in an accurate and timely manner. *Collect necessary data from callers and enter it into system. *Assign calls to couriers via the radio or cell phone. Receiving: The Receiving Clerk is responsible for documenting receipt of all supplies and equipment purchased by the medical center. *Issue department supply orders from inventory on a daily basis. *Receive and return items to and from vendors and load into Lawson system. Distribution: The Distribution Clerk is responsible for issuing medical/surgical supplies to all user departments in a prompt and efficient manner.
*Answer inquiries on product availability. *Fill requisitions from stock. *Unloads, breaks down, tickets and stocks supplies. Warehouse: The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for receiving, storing and distributing material, equipment and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. *Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas. *Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code. *Maintain the medical center Record Storage Program and fixed asset systems. Responsibilities Under general supervision is responsible for inventory, issue, pick and deliver supplies and equipment in an accurate and timely manner while meeting supply chain productivity goals. Researches and resolves questions complex in nature. Demonstrate strong service orientation to all customers.
Performs complex clerical tasks. Compiles, files, and maintains records. Maintains and reviews reports. Recommends process improvements to increase volume of transactions as the avenue for reducing overall costs of transaction processing. Serve as a role model and mentor other staff, new hires, and students. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
