Periodically verifies that completed work orders contain required information on parts, work time and description of work performed. Performs Area Maintenance Technicians annual and quarterly evaluations, reviews Technicians PDO requests. Communicates effectively with all other departments and changes work orders priorities to respond to emergency situations. Maintains professional competency through continuing education for staff and by attending Seminars or meeting of professional organizations. Follow-up open/backlog work orders, manages their completion. Submits work order documentation daily. Qualifications What You Will Need: General Maintenance experience General knowledge of all of the following maintenance areas: Air conditioning, Plumbing, Electrical, fire alarm system, tube system, telephones, paging system and the power plant systems Minimum 2 years Healthcare Maintenance Experience (Preferred) High School Diploma or GED (Preferred) Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing in Healthcare field Job Summary: Routinely assigns repair and preventive work orders as necessary to maintain equipment and building in excellent working condition. Responsible for training new hires and all other night and weekend staff. Communicates effectively with all other departments and changes work orders priorities to respond to emergency situations. Maintains professional competency through continuing education and training for staff by attending Seminars or meetings of professional organizations.
