Dallas, Texas, JOB SUMMARY: As the Vice President of Technology, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of our organization’s technology strategy and operations. You will play a crucial role in driving technological innovation, implementing, and operating efficient systems, and maximizing the potential of our technology infrastructure. The Vice President of Technology will collaborate closely with IS Leadership Committee (ISLC), executive management, engineering teams, and stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goals and ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions.   RESPONSIBILITIES: – Develop and implement the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business objectives. – Provide visionary leadership and guidance in the development and execution of technology initiatives. – Oversee the entire technology department, including data center operations, networking, telecommunications, infrastructure, database administration, end user device engineering, cloud and related support teams. – Collaborate with executive management to identify opportunities for technological advancements and innovation that enhance business operations and drive value. – Ensure the timely delivery of technology projects and initiatives while managing resources and budgets effectively. – Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and excellence in technology throughout the organization. – Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to drive competitive advantage and improve efficiency.

– Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, tools, and partnerships that support the company’s strategic goals. – Champion cybersecurity measures and ensure the implementation of robust security protocols to safeguard company data and systems. – Lead and mentor technology teams, promote professional growth, and build a high-performing and motivated team. – Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technology standards, policies, and procedures. – Foster effective communication and collaboration between technology and other departments to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. – Manage relationships with external technology vendors, partners, and contractors. – Monitor and report on key technology performance metrics to executive management and stakeholders. – Develop and monitor the organization’s IT budget, measure financial performance, review, and approve capital expenditures and ensure budget compliance. QUALIFICATIONS: – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.

– Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role in healthcare, preferably as a CTO or VP of Technology. – Strong business acumen and ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives. – Demonstrated success in developing and executing technology strategies that drive innovation and deliver tangible results. – Deep understanding of software development processes, infrastructure management, data management, cybersecurity practices, and managed services. – Knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential applications in the industry. – Excellent leadership and people management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams. – Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. – Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset. – Proven ability to manage budgets and allocate resources effectively. – Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

– Experience working with managed services organizations as delivery partners. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: – Reports to the Sr. Vice President of IS Operations. – Supervises highly skilled technical staff. – Responsible for the management and oversight of managed services providers delivering technology operations and projects – Works closely and develops strong relationships with customers from all levels of the organization. – Responsible for technology related vendor relationships in conjunction with the ISLC. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience – 7 years of experience
