The Building Automation Specialist supports the efficient and safe operation of MWHC facilities by programming, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation systems, computerized maintenance management systems and other related digital platforms. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Identify activities within the building automation system that require response both internally and externally Perform alarm analysis within the building automation system and coordinate response Schedule third party response to repair activities identified within the building automation system Coordinates with building automation system vendor to refine system coverage and corrections to failed components Manages asset inventories for accuracy and create maintenance tasks within the computerized maintenance management system Monitor preventative maintenance and unscheduled work order completion Recommend improvements to existing systems and recommend replacements that will increase the efficiency and reduce the operating costs at MWH Auto-assigns preventative maintenance work orders to appropriate engineering associates Evaluate unassigned unscheduled work orders and assign them to the appropriate engineering associates Monitor digital Engineering systems for upgrades and coordinate implementation Manage and verify compliance with results and testing related to digital systems Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent, required Technical training and/or demonstrated competency related to building automation supported systems, required Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, preferred CompTIA, AWS certifications preferred As an EOE/AA employer, the organization will not discriminate in its employment practices due to an applicant’s race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, and veteran or disability status.
