Senior Motion Designer

Create compelling motion graphics that excite and inspire.

We’re looking for a Senior Motion Designer to create campaign assets for web and social content using visual effects, animation, and other cinematic techniques to bring our designs to life. Your experiences and skillset will allow you to create powerful stories that capture audiences and pique their curiosity.

The role.

You’ll work closely with designers and content creators as well as other Marcom team members including the Comms team to understand design requirements and interpret and deliver on internal and external projects. You’ll meet tight deadlines and respond to user and client feedback.

Your interactions and communication with the wider Marcom department will allow you to understand the scope and objectives of projects and use your professional discretion to creatively execute on the project/asset.

This is a highly collaborative role that sits within the Content team as a part of the Marcom Department. You’ll report directly to our Art Director, Saxon Shing.

What you’ll do.

Produce a wide range of animation and motion content.

You’ll create and collaborate on content for social media, marketing campaigns, and product UI overviews and layouts which communicate the vision set out by the Art Director.

You’ll have a focus on and passion for quality.

Maintain high visual standards, with a strong attention to detail, the client, audience and overall context. You’ll work closely with all Marcom teams to ensure assets meets technical and aesthetic standards as well as align to business goals

Cross departmental collaboration.

You’ll build relationships and collaborate with cross functional departments – marketing, engineering, customer experience – to bring engaging narratives to life through specialised motion design projects.

Set aesthetic and design tone and lead by example.

You’ll be accountable for the day-to-day look and consistency of our motion graphic storytelling. Provide creative input, brand stewardship, and hands on design and animation for internal and external projects. While delivering designs you’ll teach and mentor other Design Team members both from a technical and conceptual perspective.

Skills.

– Experience with templating, editing, and illustration.

– Comfortable with creative direction across projects and teams.

– Well organised portfolio in animation and visual design.

– Exposure to highly collaborative, fast-paced environments.

– Demonstrated ability to create 2D and/or 3D animations.

– Familiarity with After Effects, Fable, Cinema 4D and Blender.

– Ideally, bachelors in design with a Motion Design major.
