Job Summary:
The Program Coordinator is responsible for day to day oversight of the Denver Contemplative Leaders in Action (CLA) program. CLA is offered through the national Office of Ignatian Spirituality, and is a collaboration among Jesuits, women’s religious communities, and lay people, all committed to forming an Ignatian community in which young adults can deepen their faith and grow as leaders.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential:

Program Administration

  • Work with the national Office of Ignatian Spirituality in the development and management of the Denver CLA program.
  • Provide information and support services to participants as they go through the program.
  • Monitor the CLA email account and respond in a timely fashion.
  • Coordination and facilitation of monthly meetings, virtual workshops, and retreats.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual reports, and other reports as needed.

Marketing and Outreach

  • Implement marketing strategies for the CLA program, directed at community members, as well as Regis faculty and staff.
  • Develop outreach strategies to encourage underrepresented member participation in CLA and to support their success throughout the process.
  • Coordinate information sessions and other events to bring program providers to campus to meet with and recruit participants. Conduct follow-up market research on events.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; master’s in education, counseling, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Three to five years of program coordination and administrative experience or demonstrated equivalent.
  • Solid experience advocating for, mentoring, and coaching individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience in coordination and facilitation of large meetings: scheduling, facilitation, using Microsoft office – Outlook and Teams; Zoom, etc.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience working for a Jesuit institution.

Skills:

  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, and Zoom.
  • Organizational skills, including facilitation,

Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with a vocational exploration approach to (finding one’s calling and making meaning from experience. Knowledge of principles of Ignatian Spirituality, Ignatian, discernment, as well as the Spiritual Exercises.

Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to meet with participants one-on-one to provide high-quality, individualized advising.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with and respond effectively to many different stakeholders with care, concern, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to organize tasks, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to take the initiative and work independently but also possess a spirit of teamwork, collaboration, patience, and give-and-take.
  • Able to toggle between interactions with people and necessary computer-based tasks such as collecting and analyzing data, registering participants, sending emails, designing fliers, etc.

$24.00 / hour
