Program Coordinator I

Location: Moscow

Pay Range: $22.21 per hour

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit.

Duties may include:

  • Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions
  • Facilitating communicating between program participants and managerial staff
  • Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets
  • Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records
  • Maintaining program calendars and schedules
  • May utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions
  • Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
  • Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree;
  • Experience:
    • Program development and implementation in an academic environment;
    • Using centralized computer systems (such as financial) while completing administrative tasks;
    • Independently solving problems and performing liaison activities in a work setting and coordinating activities requiring complex arrangements;
    • Grant writing and compliance;
    • Tribal cultural protocols;
    • Native American education policies;
    • Regional Tribal infrastructure, cultures, and federal and Tribal sovereignty issues.
