POSITION DESCRIPTION: In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois
College, the Coordinator of Health Sciences Success facilitates student learning within the health sciences programs at Southwestern
Illinois College’s (SWIC) campuses. This is accomplished by one-on-one time, group setting, and review of classroom material. This
position interacts with students, staff, administration, faculty and the general public at-large. It also involves information of a
confidential nature. This is a full-time, twelve-month administrative position dependent upon continued grant funding.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in applicable health sciences degree
required. - Two years of professional experience in Health Sciences required. Experience in Higher Education preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and with computers/technology required.
- Experience with student information systems to
include PeopleSoft applications is preferred. - A valid driver’s license is required.
- Must successfully pass criminal
background check prior to hire.
SALARY: Grade 2 on the Administrative Salary Scale,
ranging from $44,675 to $51,310 per year.
WORK LOCATION: Belleville / East St. Louis / Granite City / Red Bud
campuses with district-wide responsibilities.
