We are seeking two Part-time Tutor III – Academic Operations Writing
Specialists
 who will be responsible for assisting with the administration
of college academic support services at college locations. Manages projects and processes ensuring
operational goals and objectives are reached. Ensures compliance with college policies and regulatory rules and statutes. Position
may require oversight of programs at more than one college location. Serves as an experienced tutor and is
responsible for providing execution of services. Serve as the primary contact with department managers, colleagues,
and students at various college owned/leased facilities. Maintains positive relationships with leadership, colleagues,
students, and external partners under direction of team leader/supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for leading one-on-one or small group lessons catering to the needs of the student.
Continually reviews classroom and curricula topics and assignments and assisting student with homework, project, test preparation,
class papers, research projects and other academic tasks. Ability to recognize the continuous learning cycle and provide knowledge to
students for successful completion. Assists in the development of student learning and promotes healthy study practices and guidelines.
Serves as an academic mentor and coach and provides hands-on learning techniques to ensure success. Possess excellent time
management, planning, organizational skills, and electronic media and technology skills to adapt to changing environments and
work priorities. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals from a variety of
multi-cultural backgrounds. Provides excellent customer service internally and external to the organization. Position requires
regular and predictable attendance. Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or higher plus two (2) years’ experience in an educational
environment or Associate’s degree or higher plus five (4) years’ experience, OR equivalent education
and experience.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:Generally, reports to a Manager or Director, but
may vary upon organizational need.
