About You:

• Relevant experience in a similar role, if preferred, however not essential.
• People person driven to motivate and develop our associates.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Working rights in Australia.
• Enthusiastic to escalate your Human Resources and Marriott career.
• Self-motivated, driven and energised in a fast paced environment.
• Armed can-do attitude.
• Ability to think “outside of the box” and come up with interesting engaging ideas for the associates.

Your Opportunity:

• Responsible for the co-ordination of HR activities, programs and initiatives – delivering a mind-blowing service to associates.
• Assist with the onboarding of new associates and prepare employment contracts.
• Assist with all areas of recruitment whilst following Marriott’s talent acquisition requirements.
• Liase with other departments to deliver service excellence with each customer experience.
• Complete all aspects of the employee life cycle in collaboration with your Human Resources Team.
• Support the team with TakeCare events so associates feel connected and immersed within the Pier One culture.
• Complete Human Resources administration tasks and offer general support to the team.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure that our associates are equipped with all the knowledge, tools and skills required to complete their roles.
• Work with the hotel Pillar groups to develop and implement engaging activities for the associates in areas such as the Environment, Community, Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion, Social.
